Each household is connected to a pre-paid water meter which is supplied by Mogale City Local Municipality. Water can be purchased online via internet banking or through a retailer such as Checkers or Pick ‘n Pay.

Bulk supply is provided by Mogale City Municipality. The Estate will invoice each homeowner directly over and above their levy at the approved NERSA rates.

Normal household and garden refuse are collected daily from Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. Each household may not exceed two large municipal sized refuse bags per day. All refuse must be bagged and placed outside each household for collection no later than 09h00 each day. Refuse bags must be put out in the mornings only to avoid feral cats, dogs and Hadidas tearing the refuse bags. No refuse bags are allowed overnight.

A physical address in the Estate is not a valid postal address as no deliveries are made. It is essential that a P.O. Box address is obtained. The Post Office maintains private post boxes situated outside near the entrance to the Estate. Residents may make application for a box at Krugersdorp North Post Office.

When unannounced visitors arrive your visitor will stop at the visitors’ lane of the gate request visiting access from the guard. The PREMICELL system will dial your registered number and you will be able to answer the call and speak to the guard to confirm that you wish to allow him / her access. By pressing 9 on your cell phone, the boom will open and the visitor can proceed to your property. Should you not answer the phone the visitor will not be granted access. You will however need to apply for an EXIT code to allow your visitors’ to exit the Estate.

 

The contractors working hours within the Estate are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:30.

Contractors are not allowed entry into the Estate on weekends or public holidays without prior approval. This is only applicable to general maintenance. No major construction and / or building is permitted. Such request must be made in writing to the Estate Manager by the Wednesday prior to work and is subject to approval.

Top Ten Rules of Estate

In the event of annoyance, aggravation or complaints occurring between Residents, an attempt should be made by the parties concerned to settle the matter between themselves. This should be done with consideration and tolerance.

The speed limit is 30 km/hour, and the appropriate regulations of the Road Traffic Ordinance shall apply. Please keep to the speed limit.

Dogs must at all times be on controlled leashes and dog excrement must be removed by the dog handler/owner. As dogs do tend to bark and cause nuisance, please be considerate to your neighbours and make sure the dogs are attended to and are not left alone. All pets on the Estate must wear name tags.

No person shall disturb the public peace in a street or public place, or on private premises by making noise or causing them to be made by shouting, quarrelling, fighting, singing or playing and type of musical or noise-creating instruments or gramophone, or by means of radio, loudspeaker or similar, or by riotous, violent or immoral behavior.

Excessive noise between the hours of 22h00 and 06h00 during weekdays and 24h00 and 07h00 over weekends will be considered a disturbance.

Quads and motorcycles may not be used for recreational purposes on the streets of the Estate.

Owners shall at all times ensure that any object which could, in the opinion of the Board, be considered unsightly or to the detriment of the appearance of the Estate, shall not be visible from the street, from common areas or from other properties. Objects which should be screened from view include washing lines, caravans, Wendy Houses, swimming pool pumps, TV aerials, satellite dishes, refuse and garden refuse.

No Wendy Houses, prefabricated structures, garden sheds, tool sheds and/or doll houses will be permitted in the Estate without the written approval from the Board of Directors.

No temporary or prefabricated carports permitted in the Estate. The design and material of carports and patios must compliment the style and design of the main building and must be approved by the Aesthetics Committee.

All exterior building alterations or additions, including carports requires plans to be submitted to the Aesthetics Committee for approval.

Please note that NO firework displays of any kind are allowed in the Estate.
